This beautiful sanctuary is home to approximately 48% of all bird species in the country. This tour is absolutely perfect for bird lovers and bird watching enthusiasts.

Transportation will be arranged to pick you up from your hotel and take you in 90 minutes to Carara National Park. There are two possible paths to explore, each one about 3 kilometers in lenght. During the hike, the nature guide will show you different natural species and explain all about what you will see during the tour.

Halfway through the hike you will enjoy a 20 minute relaxing stop to admire your surroundings. One of the hightlights of this encredible tour is the opportunity to see scarlet macaws flying through the clouds. After exploring the park, you will travel to Tárcoles bridge, where you can admire the enormous crocodiles below.

This is a great moment to use your camera and take photos to show everyone back home. Once you have seen all there is to see, you will get back to the ranch where a delicious home made lunch awaits you. At the end of the tour, transportation will bring you back to your hotel. A minimum of 4 people is required for this tour, or in case of less than 4 people, the fee equivalent to 4 people can be paid.
